They are mainly composed of saturated fatty acids. Therefore, they are solid at room temperature. In animals, fat cells are special cells that store fat in the body.

Some of the fat is also found in the liver. Saturated fats and trans fats are two types of fats. Dairy products such as cheese, butter, cream, high-fat milk, and meat contain saturated fat.
